OK, this is a bit downunder by design and not easily noticed, but a great spot for lunch and a pint. Highly recommend for a unique experience that you will fondly remember forever.

Undoubtedly my favourite pub in St Andrews; good beers, great staff and a really friendly atmosphere.

Quality bar. Best bar staff in town and the only place with a wall stocked choice of European beers.

I'm in love with the staff here. Best in town. Lots of free gigs which is great. If you're a musician then head down and ask about playing a show cause they don't rip you off like other places in town!

Hands down the best bar in St Andrews. What’s more you get double for your money as there are in fact two: Aikmans upstairs and The Cellar (unsurprising) downstairs. Best bars plural then. Both serve a wide variety of continental beer and above standard pub food at reasonable prices. Unlike most other places in town Aikmans has an excellent live in quality: it’s far too easy to spend an entire day within its warm bosom. Hence, for many, Aikmans becomes a home away from home, equality equipped for hours of fun drinking or cramming for finals. Upstairs offers regular live music while downstairs hosts a quiz night and impromptu midget mud wrestling. Something for everyone.
